This is a beautiful timepiece, a vintage Illinois Whippet wristwatch dated from 1929. It is a manual-winding watch, an Illinois movement 6/0s, caliber 903, 15 jewels , sub second hand, made in Springfield, U.S.A. It has a stunning engraved case and lugs, all in 14K white gold filled.

Silver dial with center engraved section. It has large luminous Arabic Numerals, black minute marks and matching hands. As always popular, the second hand is located at 9 pattern. Also, the dial is signed "ILLINOIS". Expertly repainted dial.

This watch is coming with a vintage gray color leather strap. After 90 years, it still is a very unique and attractive looking watch, it is in lovely condition, runs very well and it keeps great time!

We prefer to shoot photographs outside when weather is permitting. However, when we shoot indoors, please be aware that we shoot our photographs inside of lightboxes that are lit with 360 LED bulbs. This indeed magnifies any flaws. Usually, they are much less obvious to the naked eye. Having said that, we never photoshop any of our photography, remove blemishes, etc. We adjust light when necessary, but what you see is what you are getting, and we take pride in that.
