The Seiko 5 automatic wristwatch is a very good-looking modern watch. It has an attractive multi-tone dial that is a matte royal blue, and between the 12 and 4, the blue fades into yellow. The yellow is picked up in the 60, 5, 10 and 20 Arabic numerals and the stick sweep second. The remaining Arabic numerals are white, as are the stick minute marks. They indices and hour and minute hands are luminous (arrow and sword, respectively.) The dial is signed Seiko 5, Automatic, 21 Jewels, 7S26, 04M4 R 2 in white. The day/date window is located at 3 o'clock.
The bezel and 39mm case and bracelet are all in stainless steel, and the crown is uniquely placed at 4 o'clock. The exhibition case back shows the Malaysian movement, which features 21 jewels, caliber 7S26. The bracelet is marked 111, M0KJ B.E., Stainless Steel-B, Band China, and the deployant clasp is signed Seiko 5.
This automatic wristwatch is caliber 7S26 and has 21 jewels, and is water resistant up to 30 meters.
