This Grand Seiko Spring Drive Limited Edition watch celebrates the 20th anniversary of the famous Spring Drive movement with a fantastic hand carved platinum case. In 1977, a young Seiko engineer known as Yoshikazu Akahane had the dream to create a watch with a 1 second per day accuracy, something that only the finest electronic watches could deliver. It took him 27 years and over 600 prototypes, but eventually the Grand Seiko Spring Drive watch collection was born, and its success was guaranteed.
