The Longines watch company was founded in 1832 by Auguste Agassiz in the town of Saint-Imier, Switzerland. The company initially produced pocket watches with crown-wheel escapements. In 1867, Longines produced its first chronograph movement, and soon after became known for producing high-quality and accurate timepieces for sports, aviation, and scientific measurement.  

In 1912, Longines developed the first automatic timekeeping device for sporting events, which allowed for more accurate timing of races and competitions. Longines became the official timekeeper for many prestigious sporting events, including the Olympic Games, and developed a reputation for producing accurate and reliable chronographs.

Bringing elegance to the world of diving, this is a Longines HydroConquest diver's wristwatch, reference L38404566 and dated from 2024. 

It is powered by a high quality Swiss quartz movement caliber L151 (based in ETA 255.112) with central-second hand, 6 jewels, hacking function, 32,768Hz and day indicator, Swiss made.    

Cased in 44mm round stainless-steel case with polished-brushed finish. Unidirectional rotating bezel with black minute scale top ring. Scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, with several layers of anti-reflective coating on the underside. Original screw-down crown and water resistant up to 300 meters (990ft. / 30 ATM). 

Black dial with silver luminous Arabic Numerals, luminous hour marks, white minute/second track and silver luminescent matching hands. The day window is located at the 3 o'clock position. The dial is also signed with the LONGINES name/log on top and 30bar (300meter) on the bottom.   

It comes with the original Longines silver-tone stainless-steel bracelet with polished-brushed finish and double safety folding clasp. It will fit a wrist up to 7 1/4" (18.4 cm).

We prefer to shoot photographs outside when weather is permitting. However, when we shoot indoors, please be aware that we shoot our photographs inside of lightboxes that are lit with 360 LED bulbs. This indeed magnifies any flaws. Usually, they are much less obvious to the naked eye. Having said that, we never photoshop any of our photography, remove blemishes, etc. We adjust the lighting, when necessary, but what you see is what you are getting, and we take pride in that. 

The condition is pre-owned. 
The item may have some signs of cosmetic wear but is fully operational and functions as intended.
