This elegant Movado wristwatch, reference number 16001, is a 1960's Tempo-Matic, Sub Sea, with a Swiss automatic movement. The movement features caliber 600 and 17 jewels. The movement itself is striking- a beautiful, almost rose gold colored movement, not often seen. The rotor features a large "M" for the Movado logo. This movement really stands out from others!
The dial is also beautiful- a uniform silver color from the dial to the hands and the indices! The silver dial features a satin finish, mirrored stick indices with luminous tips, and silver sword-shaped luminous hands. It has a silver, slender, stick-shaped sweep second. The dial is signed Movado with the Movado M logo, Tempo-Matic, and Switzerland. The original crown features the Movado logo, and the outside of the stainless-steel case back is signed Sub Sea, indicating that it is a water-resistant model.
This Movado Tempo-Matic is completed with a brown leather two-piece strap with a silver-tone buckle.
This is a very attractive Movado wristwatch that would be an excellent choice to wear with a business suit or formal night out. It could also be worn to dress up a more casual look. It is in great condition, showing a light patina on the dial, and runs fantastically!
